Icicles

Wintery scenes dominate this week's gallery, such as these impressive icicles which Adam Blunt from Cardiff snapped while walking up Pen-y-Fan in the Brecon Beacons.

View of Nantyglo and Blaina

This perfect snowy scene was photographed by Russell Hathway from Nantyglo. It shows the view of Nantyglo and Blaina looking towards Mynydd James in Blaenau Gwent.

Buffalo in the snow

It cannot be a common sight to see a herd of buffalo running around a snow-covered field. But Sue McGrane and her husband stumbled upon this unlikely scene during a recent walk around Corwen.

View over Cardiff Bay

What a view to wake up to. Rhiannon Williams sent us this picture taken at around 8am from a fifth floor flat looking out over the River Taff and Cardiff Bay with Penarth in the distance.

Bad weather

The bad weather out at sea was captured from near Broadhaven beach, in Bosherston, Pembrokeshire, by Graham Winter. He said shortly after this photo was taken he was caught in a hail storm.

Pen-y-Fan

A blanket of snow covers Pen-y-Fan and Corn Ddu in the Brecon Beacons in this picture from Mike Davies, of Cadoxton, Neath.

Ferndale in the snow

Mark Murphy's picture shows how the usually busy main road through Ferndale in Rhondda was quiet and still at midday thanks to the snow.

Tryfan

Catrin Jackson from Nant Ffrancon near Bethesda braved the freezing conditions to take a picture of an isolated Tryfan in Snowdonia. She said: "Not many walkers here!"

Snowdrops

But the snow has not covered all parts of Wales. John Franco sent in this picture of snowdrops outside his front door in Gwalchmai, Anglesey. He said it is to remind everyone that "spring is on the way".
