Round-the-world adventurer Rosie Swale Pope set Tenby's Boxing Day swim on its way, with the help of her lookalikes - Tenby mayor and deputy, Sue Lane and Tish Rossiter.
Around 570 swimmers sprint for the sea in Tenby's traditional Boxing Day plunge. The event was watched by huge crowds under blue skies.
Tenby-born actor Charles Dale was among the swimmers along with his six-year-old son, Laurie.
The swim, organised by Tenby Sea Swimming Association, raised thousands of pounds for charities by the swim, including Barnardo's Cymru, Plant Dewi and The British Retinitis Pigmentosa Society.
These Baywatch "babes" were among those who rushed into the sea at Tenby. The fancy dress theme of around the world brought out characters including Borat and women in bikinis.
In Porthcawl, the annual Christmas morning swim attracted a couple who were married on Christmas Eve and who joined for a honeymoon dip.
