Cold air coming from the Arctic has caused an unusual cold snap. Most of the UK saw sleet and snow showers overnight. This picture was sent in by Ben Fillmore in London.
Diana Montgomery says the unusual weather gave her the opportunity to photograph snow on deciduous tree leaves.
Mark Budd: "I was on the Isle of Skye on Tuesday morning and drove to Dalwhinnie, near Pitlochry. The scenery was so breathtaking I felt like weeping at times."
