Brian Gilman: "My wife and I recently visited the National Trust in Formby in Liverpool; the decline in red squirrels has been noticeable over the past few years".
Eddy Swinson: "We tend to get visited by a couple of red squirrels once a year. When you approach them they try to scold you with squeaks and twittering noises."
Margaret Sutherland: "We can have up to seven red squirrels at any one time in the garden. Unfortunately they may be threatened by a proposed housing development in the forest nearby."
