Brian Gilman: "My wife and I recently visited the National Trust in Formby in Liverpool; the decline in red squirrels has been noticeable over the past few years".

Eddy Swinson: "We tend to get visited by a couple of red squirrels once a year. When you approach them they try to scold you with squeaks and twittering noises."
