Somme commemoration

A company Guard of Honour furnished by 2nd Battalion of the Royal Irish Regiment mounted around the Cenotaph at Belfast City Hall.

People came to pay their respects after the ceremony.

The poppy wreaths were laid at the foot of the Cenotaph.

Ulster Unionist leader Sir Reg Empey was among those paying his respects.

Members of the Royal Ulster Rifles Association also attended.
