In Pictures: Edinburgh MoonWalk

About 11,000 women walked through the streets of Edinburgh in bras for the MoonWalk event. All pictures by Lloyd Smith

Pink was the theme of the event which was raising money for cancer charities

Some people walked a whole marathon while others chose to do a half marathon

The participants walked through the night, finishing early on Sunday

Many of the bras were especially customised for the event

Organisers said the event had been a great success

Landmarks, including Edinburgh Castle, were lit up in pink for the MoonWalk

This was the third year the MoonWalk was held in Edinburgh

Participants took part from across Scotland and beyond

Organisers hope £3m can be raised for cancer charities this year

Money raised from previous events has gone to charities including The Breast Cancer Institute in Edinburgh and Maggie's Cancer Care Centre, Glasgow
