A memorial service for murdered teenager Jimmy Mizen has taken place at a church, close to the Three Cooks bakery in Lee, south-east London, where he died.

The Mizen family walked to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in south London. Jimmy celebrated his 16th birthday a day before he was attacked and killed.

Parents Barry and Margaret Mizen gave a statement to the media before attending the memorial service.

Margaret Mizen, with her youngest daughter Sammy, placed flowers at the scene of her son Jimmy's death outside the bakery where he was attacked.
