Tens of thousands of people lined the streets of Hong Kong to catch a glimpse of the Olympic torch on its parade through the city.

Olympics organisers presented Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang with the torch at a harbour-side morning ceremony before the relay began.

But the relay appeared to go fairly smoothly, with the majority of people there to cheer on the Olympic torch.
