In pictures: Edinburgh fire

A fire broke out at a block of flats under construction in Edinburgh on Saturday. Shona McMillan was at the scene early on.

Reader Kathleen Dodge took this photo from her flat in Meadowbank. She said the whole building burned down at an alarmingly fast rate.
