Monday's UK storm continued into late evening. Floods and power outages were reported in some areas of the country. Caroline Pedler took this shot at Trevaunance Cove, Cornwal.

A lucky escape for the house. Remarkably only a few roof tiles were damaged at the home of John Mundell's father-in-law in Brading, Isle of Wight .
