Funerals have been held in Jerusalem for eight students at a Jewish religious college killed by a Palestinian gunman.
Many of the mourners were fellow students at the Mercaz Harav Jewish seminary.
Thousands of people attended the ceremony for the victims of Thursday's shooting - the first major attack on Israelis in Jerusalem in four years.
Most of the victims were between 15 and 19 years old.
The killer was named as Ala Abu Dhaim, from East Jerusalem. His sister said he had been angered by the recent Israeli action in the Gaza Strip, in which 120 Palestinians were killed.
Mourners and photographers were allowed into the library at the Mercaz Harav school to see the chaotic aftermath of the gun attack.
Students surveyed the damage in the institution, which is closely linked to the Jewish settler movement.
Security was heightened across Jerusalem - meaning Muslims were barred from saying Friday prayers at the al-Aqsa mosque and had to pray in the street.
The Israeli government resisted calls to break off peace talks with the Palestinians - but correspondents say it is under pressure to respond in some way.
