People in Indonesia have been digesting the news of the death of Suharto, the man who ruled them for 32 years.
At the hospital in Jakarta the flag was put at half mast as the government announced a week of mourning.
Many of Suharto's supporters gathered at the hospital, some clearly distressed.
They mobbed the body as it was being put on an ambulance to be sent to his Jakarta home.
At his residence in the capital, wreaths began arriving soon afterwards.
Suharto's daughter asked people to forgive her father who has been accused of corruption and human rights abuses.
