A bomb has exploded at a busy market in Baghdad, killing at least 13 people and injuring about 50 others.
The bomb exploded in the popular Ghazil pet market, which is held every Friday.
The frequency of bomb attacks has decreased markedly this year following the US-led "surge" of 30,000 extra troops.
Correspondents say attacks like Ghazil are now more the exception than the rule.
Ghazil is in a mixed Shia-Sunni Muslim area.
A chicken seller was among those trying to return to normal after the attack.
