The green flags of Hamas are flying over Gaza as the Palestinian militant group says it is close to taking control of the territory.
Hamas militants celebrated as they seized rival faction Fatah's Preventive Security compound, their intelligence headquarters in Gaza.
Hamas also took over the southern city of Rafah.
Fighting between the two rival Palestinian factions has continued for more than five days, and more than 100 people have been killed.
Hamas moved to cement its control over the Gaza Strip on Thursday, as the fighting escalated.
There are now fears the fighting may spread to parts of the West Bank, where there have been reports of gun battles.
The EU and US have voiced concern and the EU has suspended aid operations in Gaza in response to the violence.
