TV's most familiar stars shone at the British Soap Awards at BBC Television Centre. Amongst them was Tina O'Brien, from Coronation Street, which was named best soap.

Veteran actress June Brown, famous for her role as Dot Branning in EastEnders, cut an elegant look at this year's British Soap Awards.

Eden Taylor-Draper, who plays Belle Dingle in Emmerdale, beams with delight as she clutches her award for best dramatic performance from a youngster.

Gemma Bissix

Gemma Bissix, who won villain of the year for her role as Clare Cunningham in Hollyoaks, gets close to her award.
