Channel 4 reality show Big Brother has opened the doors to its redesigned house. The centrepiece is the bath, placed amongst multi-coloured lighting panels in the living room.
The fridge has been dragged out of the kitchen and built into the back wall of the garden area.
In a nod to the livestock that used to be kept in the Big Brother compound, designers have placed a Damien Hirst-style pickled rubber chicken in the living area.
Producers have tantalisingly locked the kettle and toaster in a clear Perspex box. Only Big Brother can decide when to release the catch.
A 1970s-style telephone lurks by the sink in a kitchen which features a hotplate, but no cooker.
Dermot O'Leary and Davina McCall return to introduce this year's housemates on 30 May.
