Rashin Kheiriyeh is one of 30 Iranian artists whose works are on show at the Meridian International Center in Washington.
The Wishes and Dreams exhibition has been staged as part of efforts to improve cultural ties between the US and Iran at a time of political tension.
All the artists being exhibited are aged between 22 and 40. Their work reflects Iran's vibrant contemporary art scene.
Many of the artists' works are about dreams of their own past and their cultural heritage, the organisers say.
The works can be seen as expressing a strong desire to preserve the past as well as a concern for the future.
The exhibition will run in Washington until late July and will also tour other cities in the US.
