Two bomb blasts have killed at least three people on buses near the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The bombs went off minutes apart near the mainly Christian town of Bikfaya, in the hills to the north of the city.

The buses were carrying people to work through the village of Ain Alaq, just south of Bikfaya.

The force of the blast completely blew the roof off one of the buses, leaving it a twisted wreck.
