Barbara Callister: "This picture was taken at high tide in Castletown. I had a hard job standing against the wind."

RM Arnold: "During the storm in Emsworth, one boat was safe and the second arrived at the top of the slipway, complete with all its mooring sinker and chain moments later."

Mark Shipley: "In Sandside, South Cumbria, the winds have whipped the tide into a frenzy with wave crests reaching a height of about 1.5m."
