All photos in this gallery were sent in by Benedick J Clarke of Kensal Green, and were taken around 1.30 on Thursday afternoon.
Benedick: "I have a friend on Liddel Gardens and I was anxious to get there and make sure her house was alright."
The tornado showered debris over the suburban streets and gardens.
Benedick: "Fortunately her house had only lost a few tiles...
...but only a few doors along were properties with severe damage."
The tornado uprooted trees and and dumped them in front gardens...
...though some back gardens fared no better.
And if the tiles stayed on, the occasional chimney stack took the brunt of the wind.
Benedick: "From what I saw the emergency services were brilliant."
And even if you don't drive your car in London, you may not escape a bill somehow.
