In pictures: Baghdad TV station attack

A woman weeps for the victims of a gun attack on the offices of a satellite TV station in Baghdad.

At least 11 people are known to have died in the attack on the new Shaabiya TV channel, which had yet to begin proper programming.

Most of the victims were security staff and technicians. Witnesses say the attackers wore police uniforms.

The channel is to cater for a Sunni Arab audience, leading to suspicions the attack had a sectarian motive.
