Julie Broadfoot travelled to the Edinburgh Mela on Saturday to sample the intercultural festival
The festival offered plenty of activities for a range of age groups
This sculpture was one of several on show during the festival
Children's drawings and paintings added some colour to the Edinburgh Mela
Food was prepared for the hungry crowds at the event
Tents and stalls offered a range of services including Henna symbols
Bangles and other jewellery were available to those who attended the Mela
Las Babuchas raised the tempo with some flamenco dancing
