The Pussycat Dolls celebrated their MTV Music Video Award for Buttons, which was named dance video of the year.

OK Go, with exercise machines

Rock group OK Go decided to use exercise running machines as part of their performance at the ceremony.

Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake opened the show by performing two songs from his new album FutureSex/LoveSounds.
