In pictures: Paris Men's Fashion Week

A five-day fashion show is under way in Paris, displaying the latest in menswear.

The event, which began on Friday, is showcasing top designers including John Galliano, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Yves Saint Laurent.

US designer Albert Elbaz's models paraded at the French capital's Crillon hotel, sporting blazers and sunglasses.

British designer John Galliano's outfits were among the more adventurous on display.

Galliano's show opened with sparks flying from electricity pylons.

Jean-Paul Gaultier's show blurred the lines between male and female fashion.

Austrian designer Wendy and Jim put a modern twist on office wear.

And Japanese designer apparently used tennis for inspiration, with scoreboard numbers painted on his clothes.
