Tributes have been accumulating near the area where Belgian girls Nathalie Mahy, 10, and Stacy Lemmens, 7, were found in Liege - victims of a suspected sex crime.
Stacy went missing along with her step-sister Nathalie at a street party in the city on 9 June.
Media reports of the post mortem results suggest both girls were strangled and Nathalie raped.
The bodies were found 20 metres apart near a railway track, after a search lasting three weeks.
Christiane Granziero, mother of Stacy, arrived at the mortuary to see the body of her seven-year-old child on Thursday.
Catherine Dizier, mother of Nathalie, also arrived to see her dead child at the Liege mortuary.
Convicted child rapist Abdellah Ait Oud - here being taken to jail after interrogation - has been charged with abducting the girls, but denies any involvement.
