Jewellery and objects belonging to Princess Margaret are to be auctioned by Christie's in London this week.
Among the 800 items is the Poltimore tiara, worn by Margaret at her wedding to Anthony Armstrong-Jones at Westminster Abbey in May 1960.
Among the most significant pieces is a diamond and pearl necklace given to the princess by her grandmother, Queen Mary, on her 18th birthday in 1948.
The items are being sold to pay inheritance tax on the princess's estate. They are expected to sell for £3 million.
The Riviere necklace was also given to Princess Margaret by Queen Mary and is expected to fetch £190,000.
Princess Margaret died in 2002. The items were put up for sale by her children, Viscount Linley and Lady Sarah Chatto.
Furniture, silver, works of art, jewellery and decorative objects will be up for auction on 13 and 14 June.
