It was raining heavily during a service, when Kalerwe Church in Uganda's capital, Kampala, collapsed.
It is unclear how many worshippers were present at the service, but more than 100 were killed or injured.
Witnesses say there was a loud crash and then a wall came down. Frantic rescue efforts in the dark followed.
Survivors were rushed to local hospitals that have been struggling to cope...
... whilst the dead were taken to the city mortuary.
The BBC's Will Ross in Kampala says all the bodies have now been recovered. He says the flouting of building regulations is a common problem in Uganda.
