US President Bush has been visiting an agricultural college in the city of Hyderabad on the latest stage of his first official visit to India.
While at Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Mr Bush was presented with a prize pumpkin. The university is sponsored under a US programme to boost India's food production.
Perhaps the unlikeliest encounter of the whole visit was this meeting with a water buffalo.
There was no let up in the protests against his visit.
The mood among the protesters contrasted sharply with many positive reports in the Indian media.
Meanwhile in Pakistan, which President Bush is due to visit on Saturday, security has been tightened in the capital Islamabad.
