Thousands have mourned the Brazilian mistakenly killed by British police, in his home town of Gonzaga.
Jean Charles de Menezes was shot last Friday by officers searching for those behind the attempted attacks in London.
His mother laid a rose for her son.
He was also remembered at a service in London's Westminster Cathedral.
Relatives had accompanied the remains of Mr Menezes from the British capital back to Brazil.
He was laid on a fire engine to transport him to his home town.
Some banners in Gonzaga are calling the young man a martyr.
His death has also prompted protests.
