Sebastian Merz sent this picture of Stockholm harbour at night. "This picture shows how the ice is slowly sneaking into the fresh water of Stockholm harbour," he said.

Adrian Woodroffe sent this image of the River Trotus in Comanesti, Romania. "The day time temperature in the town has recently been as low as minus 25C," he said.
