Tens of thousands of people have converged on the Parliament at Stormont for one of the biggest funerals ever seen in Northern Ireland - for George Best.
Many fans brought floral tributes to display outside Stormont to pay their respects to the Manchester United legend.
After a private blessing at the family home in Cregagh, in east Belfast, the cortege was applauded all the way to the public service at Stormont.
More than 300 of Best's friends and family were invited to the main service inside the Parliament building, including ex-wife Alex Best.
Young players from the youth team Best used to play for in Cregagh stood by as his coffin was carried into the service.
Best's son Calum helped to carry his father's coffin.
Calum fought back the tears as he read two poems.
Best's sister Barbara McNarry also paid her own tribute during the service.
