The tower block begins to crumble

The building was reduced to 7,000 tonnes of rubble in a matter of three seconds, leaving the way for 90 new homes to be built on the site.

The 16-strong demolition team, including explosives engineer Holly Bennett, used 35kg of explosives and 1,000 detonating charges across five blast floors.
