In pictures: Iraq protests

Protests took place across the world on Saturday, marking two years since the start of the war in Iraq.

Pakistani protesters in Lahore carried banners saying: "US Out of Iraq", as they chant anti-US slogans.

In Istanbul, in Turkey, an estimated 15,000 people turned out to protest against the war.

Tight security accompanied the demonstrations - some of which were held outside US embassies.

Caricatures of George Bush featured in most of the rallies - such as this one in Copenhagen, Denmark.

And this one at a protest in Athens, Greece.

In Britain, three former soldiers carried a coffin representing the dead in Iraq to London's Speakers' Corner.

New York activists also carried coffins to highlight their objections.
