The dolphin was brought ashore by RSPCA officers and coastguards
She was initially put in the enclosed harbour at North Dock
RSPCA officers remained with her while the inflatable pool was erected
Firemen used high pressure hoses to fill the inflatable pool with water
The dolphin was then moved from North Dock to the pool on the quayside
She was gently lowered into the inflatable pool by rescuers
She was fed with a special concentrate to try and re-hydrate her
Despite the best efforts of rescuers she was not in a fit enough state to be released back in the wild.
