And Lacey Turner, who plays Albert Square bad girl Stacey Slater, was named best soap newcomer.
Emma Atkins, who plays Charity Tate in Emmerdale, was crowned best soap actress, beating June Brown (Dot Branning) from EastEnders and Coronation Street's Kate Ford (Tracy Barlow).
