A bright linear feature may be an area where water ice has been extruded on to the surface. In the lower part of the image, stubby, dark channels may be liquid methane springs.

The probe took seven years to reach its destination. The probe landed on a boundary between the dark and light material on the surface.

The dark areas may be smog particles that have been washed off water ice into channels and basins, where they gather.
