Fourth-placed Kinga Karolczak, whose antics in the house prompted some complaints, was in robust form as she greeted the public.

All the series' former housemates were at the Big Brother finale, including Londoner Maxwell Ward, known for his catchphrase "off the hook".

Student Sam Heuston had been the third person evicted from the series, having made herself unpopular by arguing with fellow housemates and constantly wearing bikinis.
Kemal Shahin

Cross-dressing belly dancer Kemal Shahin arrived at the finale in a typically flamboyant outfit. Channel 4 has agreed to screen two further series of Big Brother, taking the programme through to 2007.
