The National Museum of Photography, Film and Television in Bradford has put together an exhibition of film posters to mark ten years of its Bite the Mango film festival, including Aan (Savage Princess) from 1952.
Ram Aur Shyam (1967)

Screen legend Dilip Kumar starred in a double role for the first time, in Ram Aur Shyam, playing twins separated at birth who grow up to become the timid Ram and the boisterous Shyam.
Bairaag (1976)

In the 1976 film Bairaag (Longing), Dilip Kumar plays a triple role for the first time. He appears as twins, separated at birth, and their father.
Daag (1952)

Dilip Kumar won his first Film Fare Award for his portrayal of Shankar, a nice village youth who turns to alcohol when he is parted from his sweetheart Parvati in the 1952 movie Daag (Stain).
Sholay (1975)

Sholay (Flames of the Sun) is still the highest grossing Indian film of all time and continues to play at some cinemas almost 20 years after its release.
Deewar (1975)

Deewar (The Wall) established Amitabh Bachchan as the 'Angry Young Man' in this epic tale of two brothers on the opposite sides of the law.
Shabnam (1949)

Shabnam established the reputation of composer S.D Burman and also starred Dilip Kumar as Manoj, a refugee on his way to Bengal after the 1942 bombings in Rangoon.
Shaheed (1948)

In 1948 Dilip Kumar starred in the nationalist drama Shaheed (Martyr) set in the context of the 'Quit India' movement and the ensuing wave of terrorist actions in the mid-1940s.
