This year's winner of the Times/Tabasco Young Photographer of The Year Award is Sophie Laslett, 26, who entered three pictures including this one of a Donut stall at the Glastonbury festival.

Sophie, from Norwich, beat off strong competition to win a six month contract with The Times for whom she will undertake a wide range of assignments.

The last of her three images shows the comedian Paul Kaye on the film set of It's All Gone Pete Tong. Times picture editor Paul Sanders said: "Sophie has great flair and, I'm sure, will be a credit to the scheme."
