Women celebrating the opening of Fespaco

Africa Live, the show that brings the continent together, is back for another monthly edition.

Fespaco got under way with a spectacular opening ceremony - but also under a number of clouds.

It was slammed by the winner last time out, Ayouch Nabil, as being "disrespectful," while Ivorians have attacked it for not including much of their prolific content.

Now we want to know what YOU think.

  • Who owns Africa's image on screen?

  • Are you happy with the images of Africa that appear in the cinema?

  • Are Africans too often portrayed as savages, slaves and half naked tribesmen?

  • Are too many African parts going to black American actors?

  • Is the profession of acting still looked down upon in Africa?

  • Can Africa produce real film stars?

Whatever you think, let us know, and get all Africa talking.
