Police in Denmark have used batons to disperse hundreds of protesters who tried to make their way to the venue in Copenhagen where the UN's climate change talks are being held.
The protesters are angry about the lack of progress on a new climate deal.
On Wednesday morning, as the first of 115 world leaders began descending on Copenhagen, the woman who had been chairing the talks resigned. She has been replaced by the Danish prime minister.
