Global marketplaces: Buenos Aires

The BBC has been visiting markets around the world to find out how the global recession is hitting ordinary shoppers and traders.

The antiques market in San Telmo, Buenos Aires, Argentina is situated in a beautiful part of town, and is frequented by locals and visitors alike.

Eighty-year-old Cecilia Tornu is a tapestry restorer who sells antique tiles and ironwork at San Telmo.
