Somali pirates 'free arms ship'

Pirates who hijacked a Ukrainian ship loaded with weapons have received a ransom and have left the vessel, reports from Somalia say.

The pirates seized the Kenya-bound MV Faina and its crew in September 2008 and have been holding the Ukrainian ship off the town of Harardhere.

File footage from the US Department of Navy shows the Ukrainian ship off the coast of Somalia.
