Trial of Kercher suspects begins

Two people have gone on trial in Italy for the murder of the British exchange student Meredith Kercher who was found stabbed to death in her bedroom in Perugia in November, 2007.

Amanda Knox and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito both deny murder.
