Woman survives prolonged snow ordeal

A Canadian woman who went missing during a blizzard has been found after surviving outside for three days in freezing temperatures.

Sergeant Mark Cox of Hamilton Police and rescue worker Ray Lau described their amazement at finding Donna Molnar alive buried in 58cm (23in) of snow.

Mrs Molnar's husband, David Molnar, said God must have been looking after her.

The 55-year-old woman had disappeared after her car became stuck in a snowy field.
