Hamas/ Fatah talks cancelled

Negotiations to end the split between the Palestinian faction of Hamas and Fatah have been postponed indefinitely.

Egypt decided to cancel planned talks after Hamas said it would not attend because of Fatah's refusal to release some of its detained members.

The BBC's Middle East Editor Jeremy Bowen has been to the West Bank city of Hebron.
