A Rangoon resident, who wanted to remain anonymous, said there was no government help for people affected by the cyclone.
He told the BBC:
"There is no help from government at all. Only after 3 days they appear.
Right now people are dying but as far as we heard the government is still denying the international help.
So all the people are angry about that - they are really angry about that.
This is a good time for the military government to collaborate with the people - they can have support from people if they really wanted to help the people.
If they came out and if they help the people - then people will support them anyway. But they didn't take this chance.
Instead they are doing in the wrong way so that people will hate them more. That is the feeling we have right now."
