Threat delays Rome-London flight
Alitalia plane at Fiumicino airport
Alitalia is Italy's largest airline
Passengers on an Alitalia flight from Rome to London were evacuated after an anonymous phone call suggested there was a bomb on board the plane.

The flight was due to leave Rome's Fiumicino airport at 1335 (1135 GMT), but all 165 passengers were taken off the plane 20 minutes before departure.

All luggage was examined, police said, while the aircraft was surrounded by police and fire services.

But no bomb was found and the plane later took off normally, reports said.
