Your pictures, your world

We want to see the world through your eyes, to experience the everyday sights that capture your imagination across the planet.

As part of a new series we are asking you to send in your pictures on a new topic each month.

The 12 best images will be selected by our picture editor to be published on the site, where you will be able to vote for your favourite.

This month's theme

This month's competition is now closed and you'll be able to vote for your favourite photo on 24 November.

Please note that due to operational reasons this accreditation will probably not be possible with video. The BBC cannot guarantee that all pictures and/or video will be used and we reserve the right to edit your comments.

At no time should you endanger yourself or others, take any unnecessary risks or infringe any laws.
