Andrew Witty, GlaxoSmithKline's chief executive, has taken questions from listeners to the BBC's World Have Your Say programme.

Last year the company made a pre-tax profit of more than $13bn, and its products helped treat billions of people.

Nelson from Nigeria started the questioning, which covered the quality of products in Africa, transparency, the patent pool for sharing knowledge of diseases and the stockpiling of swine flu vaccines.
